This globular cluster is located at the western edge of Aquarius and near the Saturn Nebula and M73.
It is rather inconspicuous but interesting. With careful observation, irregularly-shaped bright areas are seen.
A central condensation in a triangular shape is barely discernable. There is also an arm-like brighter area visible in the east. The outline of this cluster is irregular.
At 110x there is no resolution, but at 150x it begins to show individual stars and the surface is grainy.
