These are the easternmost group of the Virgo Cluster galaxies. M58, M60, and other faint NGC objects are visible.
M59 (NGC 4621): This is fairly bright and elongated with a clear central condensation.
NGC 4638: This is a small elongated galaxy with a central condensation. If you look at it carefully, you will be able to detect a faint protrusion to the east-southeast. This may be NGC 4637.
NGC 4647: This galaxy is almost in contact with the neighboring M60. It is faint and diffuse but fairly large. There is also a week central condensation and it is not a difficult object.
M60 (NGC 4649): This is a large and bright galaxy. It is almost circular with a hint of slight elongation. A core-like central condensation is conspicuous.
