This is one of the trio of globular clusters south of the Teapot in Sagittarius. It is the easternmost globular of the three. It is small but bright and highly concentrated. It is the brightest of the trio and with a very bright center. Even at 150x it is hardly resolved and the surface is very grainy. The outline is elongated east-west.
