This is an open star cluster northwest of Algol. It is bright and large but looks rather scattered. About 10 bright stars are scattred with faint stars sprinkled among them. The brightness difference among the stars is large and it gives the impression that moderately bright stars are scarce. Many double stars are also contained. A line of stars south of the center is conspicuous. Four or five stars form a line and extend to the west.
