This is a large and bright globular cluster. It seems slightly larger than M13. It is located at the center of a triangle formed by three bright stars. It is finely resolved but the center seems to be blurred. The outlying stars do not form any conspicuous forms, but there are strings of stars extending toward a bright star in the northwest, which give an impression of "chains" of stars.
