It is compact with interesting arrangements of stars, but it is a pity that it does not draw observers' attention because its proximity to M20 and is located in the middle of the Milky Way. A bright star (7.8v, B0) at the center stands out. Its bluish white color is beautiful. A star immediately northwest of this is quite bright. A string of three stars next to this double is also pretty. Further north there is a stunning ring-shaped string of stars. A brightest star in the ring adds to its beautify.
