| Today a total solar eclipse was visible from the southern islands of Japan. I had never seen a total solar eclipse until today and wanted to experience it. I traveled to Ibusuki and enjoyed a 97% partial eclipse. Unfortunately, I had to observe it through the gaps in the clouds, but it was quite satisfying. I found it remarkable that the partially eclipsed sun was reflected on the rippled surface of a puddle. |
